We have only one hope of salvation. That is to crucify our carnal mind, receive the “mind of Christ" and be born of the Spirit. The Bible teaches us that sin is overcome, not by determination, but by giving up—by surrendering our all in faith to Christ, and being born of the Spirit.
When our sin separates us from the holy God, how can we bridge the distance between us? We cannot...but He has, and there is a way to be forgiven so completely that we are no longer guilty. God's Word shows us the road of confession and repentance that leads to a restored relationship with Him.
Guilt is a heavy burden, more of a load than any human can carry. Can it be buried? forgotten? avoided? How shall the guilty cope with the invisble burden of guilt?
The 32nd Psalm is a joyful testimony from the pen of David, thanking God for His gift of forgiveness. No sin is too big for God to forgive and the joy and relief of knowing that nothing is between you and God is beyond description.

In Pharaoh's house there were frogs in the bedrooms, on the seats, in the food. Yet when God let him decide when the curse of frogs should be removed, he said, "Tomorrow". It seems foolish that he asked for one more night with the frogs but in reality many of us are doing the same thing.
Although Simon Peter denied Jesus three times on the night before His crucifixion he later became one of the pillars of the church. His example should be an encouragement to all who have fallen in their Christian lives.
